Located in tranquil and eco-rich Wadi Khadeja, Banyan Tree Al Wadi rests amidst 100 hectares of private nature reserve, home to indigenous plant and wildlife. Set against the waters of the Arabian Gulf and the magnificent Al Hajjar Mountains, this oasis of indulgence is the first luxury desert resort in the Emirates to offer an all-pool villa concept, complete with 3,000 sqm of Asian-inspired hydrotherapy spa facilities.
The elegant fortress-like façade of the resort holds true to traditional Arabic architecture, blending harmoniously with the rolling desert dunes. Consisting of 101 pool-villas, the tented pool-villas emulate the nomadic tent style of Bedouin tribes, while the block pool-villas depicts the traditional mud brick architecture of Ras Al Khaimah. Other facilities includes a hydrotherapy spa circuit with hammam and vitality pool, 10 spa treatment pavilions, meetings and banqueting services, activity centre, kids’ club, a world-class falconry mews, horse and camel stables, and private beach club.
